From the initial consultation to the finishing touches, our approach provides a structured, collaborative, and professionally guided experience. Every project begins with your vision. Inspired by our signature Three M’s—Moody, Minimalist, and Modern—we thoughtfully curate personalized design solutions that balance individuality, functionality, and timeless sophistication. Through clear communication, purposeful planning, and exceptional service, DMAID guides you through each phase of your design journey, with services tailored to your selected package. Because extraordinary spaces don’t happen by chance—they happen by design.
Phase I: Consultation | Site Walk Through
During your initial consultation and site walk-through, DM Aesthetics Interiors & Decor (DMAID) will review your project scope, design preferences, goals, anticipated timeline, and overall investment. Guided by your completed client questionnaire, DMAID will also evaluate your space and document its existing conditions through applicable measurements, photographs, videos, and notes. This information establishes the foundation for thoughtful space planning, design development, curated selections, and the overall direction of your project.
Phase II: Proposal & Contract
Following your consultation, DM Aesthetics Interiors & Decor (DMAID) will prepare a customized proposal outlining the recommended scope of services, applicable fees, anticipated timeline, and project-specific details. The proposal may be revised as needed before final approval. Once approved, DMAID will provide the applicable contract for review and signature, establishing the agreed-upon scope of work, project expectations, and terms before moving forward with the next phase of your design journey.
Phase III: Initial Retainer
Upon approval of the proposal and completion of the contract, DM Aesthetics Interiors & Decor (DMAID) requires a 50% initial retainer before the project can officially begin. The initial retainer is non-refundable and will be credited toward the total service fees for the selected design package.
Phase IV: Onboarding Package
Welcome to DM Aesthetics Interiors & Decor (DMAID)! Once your project is officially underway, you will receive an onboarding package containing important information to help prepare you for the design process. This includes project expectations, communication guidelines, anticipated timelines, payment schedules, and other details relevant to your selected services. Our goal is to ensure you feel informed and prepared as we begin working together to bring your design vision to life.
Phase V: Plan, Design & Vision
During this phase, DM Aesthetics Interiors & Decor (DMAID) will develop a personalized creative direction based on your approved scope of work, consultation, and site walk-through. Depending on your selected services, this may include space planning, design concepts, color palettes, design boards, furniture and décor selections, materials, finishes, and lighting. Each element is thoughtfully curated to create a cohesive design inspired by your vision and DMAID’s signature **Three M’s—Moody, Minimalist, and Modern**. You will have the opportunity to review the proposed design, provide feedback, and approve applicable selections before advancing to purchasing, coordination, or implementation. The timeframe for this phase will vary based on your project's scope and complexity.
Phase VI: Procurement & Project Execution
Once your design is approved, DM Aesthetics Interiors & Decor (DMAID) will begin coordinating applicable purchasing, ordering, and project implementation. Depending on your selected services, this may include procuring furniture, décor, materials, and finishes, as well as coordinating with contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Throughout this phase, DMAID will oversee applicable project activities, provide important updates, and help bring your approved design to life. Timelines may vary based on product availability, deliveries, contractor schedules, and the overall scope and complexity of your project.
Phase VII: Inspection Periods
Throughout applicable stages of your project, DM Aesthetics Interiors & Decor (DMAID) will conduct inspections to review completed work, furniture, décor, materials, and other project elements for visible damage, defects, or quality concerns. Depending on your approved scope of work, this may include evaluating contractor installations and inspecting delivered products before advancing to the next phase. If concerns arise, DMAID will communicate the findings and assist in coordinating appropriate resolutions with the responsible contractors, vendors, retailers, or suppliers. Our goal is to address issues efficiently while preserving the quality, integrity, and overall vision of your design.
Phase VIII: The Grand Reveal
THE MOMENT IS HERE! After thoughtful planning, designing, coordination, and final preparations, DM Aesthetics Interiors & Decor (DMAID) will bring your transformed space together for the highly anticipated Grand Reveal! From statement-making design elements to the smallest finishing touches, every detail comes together to create a cohesive, beautifully curated space that reflects your vision, personality, and lifestyle. This exciting milestone celebrates the completion of your design journey with DMAID and marks the beginning of enjoying a space that is uniquely yours. Your vision, beautifully transformed.
